This is a second iteration; the first is here: old tidge.com. Although I hate Wordpress (no matter how many themes, etc., Wordpress has, they all look the same to me), I migrated my blog (such as it is) to Wordpress because it's easier to let Wordpress to handle the necessary database mechanics. But I've sandboxed the Wordpress system in the blog.tidge.com subdomain so I can still play around here in tidge.com, where thoughts and code are unconstrained by any system.
